Floor Intersections

  • Excavate - pit / trench – Allow for 150mm below bottom of soakwell, Soakwell Depth, 300mm Fill above Soakwell. Approx 1050mm Below finished Ground level.
  • Excavate - pit / trench – Excavate trenches for PVC stormwater piping. Depth to allow for 50mm top cover to underside of concrete or paved areas.
  • Stormwater drains - PVC - 90mm diameter - solvent weld joint – pipe – Ensure 50mm cover from top of pipe to underside of Concrete or paved areas – 100mm cover under soil
  • Stormwater drains - PVC – 110 mm diameter - solvent weld joint - 90mm x 110mm x 50mm downpipe adaptor – rectangular
  • Stormwater Soakwell - 140 Liter Polypropylene Soakwell – 1 Per 11m2 of Roof area to be contained on site.
  • Geotextile Fabric – Non woven needle punched geoxtile fabric – wrapped to perimeter of soakwell
  • Labour – Plumber - Connection of stormwater pipe to soakwell
  • Filling – blue metal – 7mm – 150mm Depth Base of soakwell – 100mm width each side of soakwell – 150mm above soakwell
  • Compaction – Plate compactor – Compaction of 150mm Depth 7mm Gravel Base prior to soakwell install
  • Filling – Fill sand – sand to make up remaining height
  • Compaction – Plate Compactor – Compaction to excavated areas (trenches dug for PVC piping, and for soakwell)
